It's dangerous to go alone...
Hello there!
It's crazy how fast time passes, and the last update was already months ago. But!
While the next one is not ready yet, it will be kind of a game changer, as it will not only introduce the possibility of customize your hotbar, but this feature opened up the way for introducing more active skills!
So why not make the new active skill something interesting, and expanding the physical line which only had the Chakram so far? And by expanding the game this way, i've decided to take another step forward by introducing minions!
Tiny little mechanical scorpions, called Mechafangs can now follow you around and shoot those alien bastards until they run out of ammo. So how does this work?
After you reach Level 10 you can learn this skill, costs you some stamina (just like Chakrams) and creates up to 5 Mechanfangs near you, each having 50 rounds to unload whenever an enemy gets in their sight, and upgrading the skill increases their ammo capacity by 10.
These minions cannot be targeted or destroyed, unless you summon a new one at minion limit or they run out of ammo. This mechanic ensures that they cannot protect you with their bodies, nor draw fire from your enemies, which is usually a balancing problem in other games. While they have a fixed damage range, they can be augmented by the properties of your items and passive skills.
How all these looks like in practice? Take a look at this, but mind that it's just an early implementation, so you'll only see some placeholder boxes (with otherwise fully operational mechanics).
